RCA Radio Hutch II

I wanted to show you the progress I am making with the RCA Radio Hutch. I was going to leave it really rustic and not fill in any holes but then I decided some things should be filled. Then I got crazy and decided a lot should be filled. I might still decide to fill in those grooves on the sides inside the hutch. It all depends on whether I am going to add a shelf or leave it big and roomie.

I also worked on the top. It might not be very obvious from this picture but I applied some of the oil and vinegar mixture I used on my front door that I learned about from Miss Mustard Seed’s blog. This stuff is so fantastic. The top of this piece soaked up the mixture and darkened a little in the process. I put on two coats of it and may put another before I start applying some wax.

Hope you are having a great Wednesday.
