Usually I don’t post about a place twice but the last time I was at The Alley, I only had a drink and ate some food but didn’t bowl. So, I figured The Alley deserved another post about bowling, the activity from where it gets its name.
For $30, six people can bowl for an hour and shoes are included. I thought it was a pretty good deal. Plus, look at those shoes. Usually bowling alley shoes are kind of scary and you want to hose them down with some sort of disinfectant before you lace up – not these babies!
We all had a great time.
Even if an occasional gutter bowl was thrown.
Afterwards, we sat out in the restaurant. I had their green salad: cabbage, spinach, cilantro and jalapeños with a lemon vinaigrette. It was delicious.
We headed home after our meal but we are coming back soon and bringing our husbands along too.
If you are looking for something fun to do this weekend, The Alley is a great place to have a bite to eat and try to knock out a few pins. All age groups seem to frequent this establishment and if you have kids, I think it would be a fun place to have a birthday party.
Happy Saturday everyone!
