In Progress



That’s right, the Shelves and Plates project is not done yet but I wanted to keep you in the loop with how it is progressing. I ran out of plate hangers yesterday so I eventually had to stop, which allowed me to make my late post last night!


A little back ground on these plates.


Both sets are from my Grandma Virginia Wilson. The one pictured above is called Rosebud Chintz. I love the pattern and the color. I have a thing for red if you haven’t noticed.

My grandma was a collector. She had several sets of dishes and I got some of them. A closet of mine now hosts the Rosebud Chintz, Milk Dish and other pieces of copper aside from . . .


these plates. She got these from Mexico. No two are alike. They were all handmade and you can see that some of them have more pronounced tooling marks than the others.

Well, I am off to my dining room now to continue working. Stop by tomorrow and see how it develops.
