Welcome to the final installment of stripping The Teal Chair. This is where we left off last week.
This week, I had to do a fair bit of tugging and pulling around the chair legs to get that teal fabric off of the chair. It really wanted to stay attached.
Finally though it relented and I was left with this last bit of fabric.
That was easily removed and then there was only this padding, which . . .
apparently is removable. I don’t know what that brown, fibrous looking stuff is but I am going to guess they don’t use that kind of material in upholstering anymore.
So now, it is down to this. Next step, painting!
