The Teal Chair – Part 2

Last week I showed you the beginning stages of my dressing down of the Teal Chair.

We left off with the teal upholstery being removed from the back of the chair which revealed a rose colored fabric with a gold, rose pattern on it.

This week I started with the arm rests.

I took it down to the wood – at least one of them anyway.

From there, I moved on to the back and took off the rose colored upholstery and . . .

the padding.

I believe I complained last week about the tool I had purchased to help me with this job. Well, I found it more helpful this week. It seems it is ideal for getting out the little nails that the old rose upholstery was tacked on with.

I even started on the seat; however, I decided to call it quits when I got to this point – until the next installment that is.

Happy Wednesday all!
