When I lived in Columbia, SC there was this cool trail not far from my house that was through a wooded area. It was great. Laddie and I used to walk on it pretty much every day. When Dixie came on the scene, she accompanied us.
Then we all relocated to Charleston. Our current neighborhood is surrounded by water on three sides and a very busy road with no sidewalk on the fourth side. So, no wooded trails for this lover of the outdoors.
To “get back to nature” we went for a walk with the dogs near Patriot’s Point in Mount Pleasant this past weekend. There is a wooded area by the RiverDogs baseball field and it seems to follow the border of the golf course. It is a bit of the rural in the midst of urban Charleston.
Of course the dogs came with us and so here are the pooches taking in the setting sun. Enjoy until the next Adventure is posted.
