Five Years – June 7th

Standard

Quote:

There will be an agreement in whatever variety of actions, so they be each honest and natural in their hour. – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Challenge:

What would you say to the person you were five years ago? What will you say to the person you’ll be in five years?

– Corbett Barr

Response:

To the person I was five years ago: Things change. You will one day want to get married (and be happy you did!) and don’t assume that people who are a part of your life will always be there. Things change. Sometimes for the better and sometimes they just change and you have to learn to roll with it.

To the person I will be in five years: Tell me, is it true what they say that life is more fun with each passing year? I know I am having fun now. I bet I am having even more fun in five years.
